Repair Technician's (RT) book, assess, document, and repair computers. Simple repairs are often booked in by our front desk volunteer. Repairs that are more complex are usually booked in by a Repair Technician since RT's may have more problem-specific questions. RT's are responsible for assessing each repair, documenting the repair in our online system, contacting the client with follow up questions, completing the repair, and contacting the client on completion of the repair. RT's also talk with front desk volunteers and other volunteers about the status and quantity of repairs.
